BRANSON, Mo. — The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is holding an event in Branson to showcase the diet of wildlife on Friday, Oct. 10.

According to an MDC news release, the program titled "Feeding Frenzy" will be held at the Shepherd of the Hills Conservation Education Center on Oct. 10 in Branson.

The event will feature how wildlife such as snakes, turtles, toads, frogs and salamanders are fed by MDC. Staff will discuss how their eating habits, such as crickets, worms and other food items.

MDC notes that the fish hatchery raceways will be closed during this after-hours event.

Interested guests are asked to register for the event, with the event being free for all ages.
