Organized through the city’s pedestrian safety program SGF Yields, the walks are designed to raise awareness about pedestrian safety while engaging neighborhoods in a family-friendly activity, according to a city news release.

Walks will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, in the Woodland Heights, Doling, Robberson, Rountree, Oak Grove, Brentwood, West Central, Tom Watkins, University Heights and Galloway neighborhoods.

The Delaware neighborhood walk has been canceled.
