It’s been a scorchingly warm stretch across the Tri State, and we’re keeping a close eye on how that trend evolves.

As we look ahead, this warmth is set to continue into the weekend, with highs remaining comfortably in the mid to upper 80s through Sunday.

We're anticipating mainly sunny skies for much of Friday and Saturday, with partly cloudy conditions starting to creep in by Sunday. Overnight lows will also be mild, staying in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

However, the weather pattern is set to take a significant turn as we head into next week. Starting Monday, we could see some shower and thunderstorm activity, with a more organized chance for rain developing Monday and continuing through early Wednesday.
