NEW ORLEANS — Thousands of New Orleans residents have fewer health care options following the closure of Planned Parenthood clinics in Louisiana.
The organization shut down its locations in New Orleans and Baton Rouge after a court ruling allowed the Trump administration to block Planned Parenthood from accepting Medicaid patients.
City officials say the closures leave a significant gap, particularly for sexual and reproductive health services.
