SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) - If there was an MVP of Sevier County's overtime win against Greeneville, it was Bryson Headrick.
The senior was all over the field and his stats prove just that. He recorded two touchdowns, including the game-winning rushing score in overtime. On defense, he had a fumble recovery. Headrick even contributed on special teams with a blocked field goal that was returned for a touchdown.
"It was really fun," said Headrick. "Just knowing that everyone was against us in that game made it even better."
Headrick said he saw people saying that Greeneville would win all over social media.
"Everybody thought we were going to lose," said Headrick. "That just added fuel to the fire."
With the win over the Greene Devils, the Smoky Bears are off to a 5-0 start to the seaso
