NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Plans are in motion to build an unborn children monument at the Tennessee State Capitol, according to NBC affiliate WSMV.

According to WSMV, Tennessee lawmakers passed HB2381 in 2018 in order to create the monument, which will be called the “Tennessee Monument to Unborn Children.”

The monument would be placed on the Capitol grounds as a memorial for aborted children.

This week, the state Building Commission approved a $4,000 gift to help build the monument. The donation came from an anonymous person, WSMV said.

As of now, there is no timeline for when the monument will be built, WSMV reported.
