NATCHITOCHES, La. (KSLA) - We are about a quarter of the way through the college football season and one team to keep an eye on is the Northwestern State University Demons.

”It was a tough three-week swing. I don’t think anybody in the country really had a schedule like that. We’re one of three FCS schools in the country who played two power fours this year,“ NSU Head Football Coach Blair McCorkle said. ”And we had ours with another road trip after, so that’s a tough swing … that really tests you and you had kind of have to find out what you’re made of when you have those road swings like that for three weeks. A lot of lessons have been learned in the first four games and hopefully and those will carry over for the rest of the season.”
