Two victims of the Manchester synagogue attack, including one who died, were most likely shot by officers responding to the terrorist incident, UK police have just announced.

Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66 , were killed and three others were injured at Heaton Park Congregation Synagogue on Thursday as worshippers were marking Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.

In a major update on Friday, Chief Constable Sir Stephen Watson said pathologists had provisionally determined that one of the two deceased victims appears to have suffered a gunshot injury.
