MEMPHIS, Tenn. - With the Memphis Safe Task Force now on the streets, parents in the city say they want answers and reassurance about what this new law enforcement presence means for their families.

On Wednesday night, The Memphis Lift hosted an informational session to help families prepare. Organizers told parents while they may not be able to stop the task force which includes members of the National Guard, they can control how they respond during an encounter.

The focus was on keeping situations calm, respectful, and safe, especially for teen drivers.
