The father of Jihad Al-Shamie has condemned his son's actions after two people were killed and others injured at a synagogue. ‌

Our sister title the Manchester Evening News understands Faraj Al-Shamie is the dad of the terror attacker who was shot dead by armed police after the incident on Thursday. ‌

Two men, Melvin Cravitz, 66, and Adrian Daulby , 53, were stabbed and killed in the attack, though one of the victims also suffered a gunshot wound believed to be fired by cops. ‌

Three others remain in hospital with serious injuries in the attack which Faraj Al-Shamie has now condemned in a statement released online.
