BONIFAY, Fl. (WDHN) - The Grace Fellowship Christian Church is hosting a prayer night this weekend to honor conservative activist, Charlie Kirk.

Jerrod Jenkins, a pastor at Grace Fellowship Christian Church in Bonifay, is asking the community to gather with them this weekend for prayer, love, acceptance and faith, with the message and theme, #UnityinourCommunity.

The prayer night will honor Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated on September 10th at Utah Valley University during one of his college debate events.

Jenkins said this night is inspired by their friend, pastor Richard Vega, who write the book "The Journey," which Charlie Kirk wrote "The Forward" for; Richard was also great friends with Charlie.
