MADISON (WKOW) - Wisconsin volleyball took on an Illinois team Thursday night that had just knocked off No. 10 Purdue last week, and was 2-0 in the Big Ten.
The Illini took a 15-14 lead in the first set, forcing a Wisconsin timeout. But then, Mimi Colyer started serving.
Colyer ended up serving out the final 11 points of the set, finished off by an Una Vajagic tip skill.
The Badgers took the match in a sweep, with scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-20.
Colyer led all hitters in the match with 16 kills, and Carter Booth added six blocks.
The Badgers are now 3-0 in Big Ten play, all sweeps. They play Michigan Sunday.
