DUBLIN -- Pittsburgh Steelers nose tackle Keeanu Benton had struggled through the first three weeks of the season, but his fourth game against the Minnesota Vikings might have been the best of his entire career.
Benton had 1.5 sacks in that game and in general, dominated a depleted Vikings offensive line, The Steelers hope it is a sign of things to come from one of their talented third-year players.
“I’m excited for Keeanu, for him, personally,” Steelers DC Teryl Austin said. “But (also) for us, because it makes us a better defense.”
Benton talked after his big game in Dublin, and thought it was not a bounce back, but rather, something that should have been happening all along. More importantly, Benton thinks he finished plays that were there all along, which led to big counting
