(WJW) – LeAnn Rimes has a black eye she says she gave to herself.

The singer shared on Instagram video of the injury and explained what happened.

“Y’all, I came off set and gave myself a black eye,” she said.

In the video you can see bruising near her brow.

“I hit myself — oh my God, this is a ... huge bump — I hit myself in the eye with this,” Rimes said.

The culprit? Her reusable water bottle.

In a second video, Rimes showed a closer look at her eye without makeup.

“OK guys, this is what it looks like now. What in the world? It’s really sad that I’ve done this to myself,” she said.

Rimes is getting used to laughing off the mishaps.
