LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) -Fresh off an open date in week five, the now-rested Lubbock High Westerners (1-3) will look for their second win of up in Amarillo against the Tascosa Rebels (3-2).

Even though the series has heavily favored Tascosa in recent years, LHS head coach Juan Rodriguez says he expects his young talent to challenge the Rebels- especially with sophomore RB Bo Davis, who has averaged nine yards per carry, and junior RB Anthony Boyd.

“Coach Rod” says Lubbock High’s program has been growing on all levels- from elementary school up in recent years, and fans are now seeing results.
