The Decatur Football team’s week 5 game against Skyview High School has been cancelled as told to The Mirror by Federal Way Public Schools in a statement.

The Gators were scheduled to head down south to Vancouver and take on the Storm for the back half of a home and home series that began last season.

“The Decatur High School Varsity football game scheduled for Friday, October 3, 2025, at Skyview High School in Vancouver has been canceled due to an insufficient number of available players. No additional information will be provided due to student privacy,” FWPS Director of Equity and Athletics John Yellam said in a statement to The Mirror.

Decatur is sitting at 2-2 this season and is coming off a 47-7 win over Kent-Meridian on Sept. 27. A matchup against Skyview would serve the Gators w
