ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- An Albany man was indicted on a five-count indictment, charging him with the murder of 29-year-old Devin Brevard on Sheridan Avenue. According to the Albany County Sheriff's Office, Anthony Boyd, 36, pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Boyd is accused of stabbing Brevard in the stomach near Henry Johnson Boulevard.

According to the DA's Office, around 6:10 a.m. on September 25, police responded to the 300 block of Sheridan Avenue for reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, police found Brevard with stab wounds to his abdomen.

Brevard was treated on scene before being transported to Albany Medical Center, where he later died.

As police continued their investigation, officers reportedly identified Boyd as the suspect, and he was arrested around 3:20 p.m. near First St
