LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - As the Huskers kick off a new month of football, troopers will be working alongside partner agencies to keep fans safe on and off the road.

With assistance from the NSP Aviation Support Unit, troopers will be working to keep roadways safe. Fans should be prepared for traffic congestion as they get closer to downtown Lincoln. NSP also encourages fans to check Nebraska 511 for the latest information on construction zones and any potential detours that may become necessary.
