The Cockburn Bowls and Recreation Centre is about to add another string to its racquet with the opening of padel courts this month.
Padel 360 CEO Alfredo Figueroa said the new club would have Australia’s first Adidas-branded padel courts.
It will also have AI-powered cameras so players can record games, grab highlight reels, and even get feedback to improve their skills.
Bookings can be made through global racquet sports booking app Playtomic, which Mr Figueroa said put Cockburn on the global padel map.
He said padel was like tennis meeting squash and was exploding worldwide because it was fast, fun and super social.
