BOZEMAN — Northern Arizona head football coach Brian Wright reflected fondly on his two seasons as Montana State’s offensive coordinator.

“We met a lot of great people there that we stay in touch with to this day,” Wright said Monday, adding, “Great memories of the players and the staff members that (I) worked with and the community there. It was all a great experience.”

A couple not-so-great memories came in 2010, when Wright and the Bobcats suffered a 34-7 loss at NAU and a 42-17 season-ending defeat to North Dakota State in the FCS playoffs.

Wright has gotten reminders of those two games this week ahead of NAU’s game against MSU. MSU’s head coach is Brent Vigen, who was NDSU’s OC in 2010. Bobcats linebackers coach Jody Owens played at MSU when Wright was there and was one of Wright’s
