Fort Collins' Masonic Temple is turning 100 and hosting a party to celebrate.

The building, 225 W. Oak St., dates back to 1925 when its cornerstone was laid. The 29,000-square-foot building was completed two years later, according to local history blog Northern Colorado History . It is now known as the Fort Collins Masonic Event Center and serves as a rentable community center with meeting rooms, a ballroom and one of Colorado's rare spring-mounted dance floors.
