GREELEY, Colo. (KKTV) - A Weld County man was sentenced to 60 years in prison for his role in a 2020 murder.
According to the 19th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, the incident occurred on Dec. 18, 2020, at an apartment complex in Greeley.
Investigators determined that Marquise Daniels, 30, and his co-defendant McKenzie Prader broke into Blaire McQueen’s apartment in retaliation for stolen property.
The DA said that during the burglary, Daniels shot and killed McQueen before leaving with a lockbox and McQueen’s revolver.
Weld County District Court Judge Vincente Vigil sentenced Daniels to 48 years for the murder and 12 years for the aggravated robbery.
