COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police say they arrested a stabbing suspect Thursday in Colorado Springs.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), the Homeless Outreach Team was near the 2700 block of South Academy Boulevard after several complaints regarding camp and trespass violators.

While in the area, officers say they received information regarding a stabbing suspect from a previous case who was seen in the area. 11 News has reached out to CSPD for more information on that case.

Officers say they found the suspect on a bicycle nearby and requested additional resources, but lost sight of the suspect as containment was established.
