KAYSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — A body recovered near the Shoreline Trail may be a Kaysville father who went missing last month, the Kaysville Police Department says.

According to a press release from the Kaysville Police Department, around 8 p.m. on Oct. 2, a body was discovered near the Shoreline Trail in the Adams Canyon area. The Kaysville Police Department and Davis County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.

The Kaysville Police Department says that, based on clothing descriptions, "there is reason to believe the individual may be Colin Mills," a 40-year-old man reported missing several weeks ago and last seen on Sept. 14 in Kaysville.

The Davis County Sheriff's Office has taken over and is investigating, according to the press release. They say that Colin Mills' family has been made
