WARSAW, Mo. (KY3) - Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe appointed a new treasurer for Benton County.

Rebecca Minks replaces Richard Renno, who resigned from the office in July.

Minks previously worked as a tax specialist for H&R Block in Warsaw before purchasing and managing the franchise. She is an active member of her community, currently serving as a foster parent and a member of the Church of Living Water. She previously served as a member of the Franchise Leadership Council.

Renno, 62, faces charges of enticement or attempted enticement of a child and sexual misconduct involving a child under the age of 15.
