It takes around 2,400 pounds of apples to make all the apple pies, apple butter, apple cider, apple fritters, apple sauce and candied apples for the Ravalli County Museum’s annual McIntosh Apple Day celebration.
The Ravalli County Museum will be celebrating all things apple this weekend at the annual McIntosh Apple Days festival on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Billed as the “Biggest Bake Sale Under the Big Sky,” McIntosh Apple Day is a fundraising event benefiting the Ravalli County Museum. Director Michelle Nowling said it’s the museum’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
