MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Officers with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency are in Memphis as part of the Memphis Safe Task Force, the TWRA told FOX13.

FOX13 reached out to the TWRA after noticing multiple wildlife vehicles in the city of Memphis since the task force became operational on Monday. Some of these vehicles have been involved in traffic stops.

"While TWRA’s Law Enforcement Officers are certainly known for their primary focus of wildlife and boating enforcement, they are all commissioned law enforcement officers with statewide jurisdiction," a spokesperson for the TWRA told FOX13.
