SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A spellbinding experience is brewing in Savannah.
On Oct. 19, the Georgia State Railroad Museum and Savannah Children’s Museum will transform into “Frogwarts,” a Harry Potter-themed event hosted by the Coastal Heritage Society .
The event features STEM-based activities including potion making, herbology, quill writing and Quidditch. Visitors can also hop aboard Frogwarts Express train.
Behind the magic, the event aims to spark curiosity in science and learning through educational programs incorporated into the event.
“They’re learning while having fun, which is obviously the most important thing when you’re teaching young children,” Dan McCall, special events manager for the CHS said.
