NEW YORK – A judge sentenced Sean "Diddy" Combs to 50 months in prison Friday, after the embattled hip-hop mogul was convicted in his landmark federal sex-crimes case .
U.S. District Court Judge Arun Subramanian is issued the ruling on Combs' prison sentence in Manhattan court Oct. 3, after attorneys for the disgraced entertainment mogul and U.S prosecutors weighed in on the time he should serve.
It was an emotional day for Combs, who's been held in custody at the in Brooklyn, New York. Combs, who arrived in the courtroom Friday wearing a sweater and sporting a gray beard, addressed the court at the hearing, following a four-page letter he wrote to Subramanian apologizing for "all of the hurt and pain that I have caused others by my conduct."
