FARMINGTON, Minn. — A cherished member of the Farmington community, a 33-year-old Paint horse named Doogie, has gone missing, prompting an outpouring of support and a widespread search effort across the region.
Doogie was last seen on Wednesday, Sept. 24, near his home in Farmington. Known for his gentle nature and distinctive white and brown Overo markings, the horse is considered by his owner, Terra Schuster, to be more than just a pet.
"A sweet old soul who's been with me through every chapter of life," Schuster said in a news release. "This horse means the world to me. He's not just a pet—he's family. Horses don't just vanish into thin air."
