BUFFALO, N.Y. — Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4 and workers at the Erie County Board of Elections are busy getting thousands of ballots ready to mail out to voters.
There are a lot of local elections this year, including the race for Buffalo mayor and several county races. You can request a mail in ballot online right now if you are registered to vote. People can apply in person through Monday, Nov. 3.
"We certainly are trying to make it as easy as possible for individuals who want to cast their ballot to cast their ballot. You don't need an excuse to go and request an absentee or mail in ballot," Republican Election Commissioner Ralph Mohr said.
So far, more than 11,000 of Erie County's more than 635,000 registered voters have done just that. 2 On Your Side saw some of the ballots
