LEBANON, Conn. (WTNH) — Some Connecticut farms are going high-tech.
Cushman Farm in Lebanon held a drone demonstration Friday to showcase the capabilities of their newest tools and how they're reshaping modern farming.
A newly-passed state law has paved the way to allow the use of unmanned aircraft to analyze, treat and apply pesticides and fertilizers.
The use of drones in farming is being called "precision agriculture." Those who spoke today also said it's generating jobs for those with "tech talents" in a field that historically has lacked such technology.
