SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- A student at a Syracuse City School District high school was involved in a fight on Friday, October 3, that resulted in a teacher being thrown to the ground.

Syracuse Police said two students at Henninger High School were in a fight, and a third walked toward them. A teacher then put a hand on one of the student's shoulders, and the student then "threw the teacher to the ground."

After the incident, officers spoke to the teacher, who told them they don't intend to press charges.
