LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Two men are behind bars after three separate drug bust in Louisville this week, and police say these operations are helping reduce violent crime and making the city safer.
Neighbors in Louisville’s Shawnee neighborhood said they stepped outside Thursday evening to find several police cars near their homes. According to Louisville Metro Police Department, officers arrested Kevin Simms on a street in Shawnee after finding marijuana and more than seven ounces of heroin believed to be laced with fentanyl.
“If they had that type of stuff over there, it’s good that’s gone because we don’t need that type of stuff in this neighborhood,” said Rosezetter Mask, neighbor.
