LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville man is facing multiple charges after police say they found firearms, drugs, ammunition, and other items during a traffic stop this week.
According to a citation from Louisville Metro Police, officers pulled over 36-year-old Tommie Roberson around 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, on Frankfort Avenue after noticing his Jeep Cherokee had an improperly displayed license plate.
Police said Roberson made “furtive movements” before the stop and was seen reaching toward the center console.
A search of the vehicle later uncovered an AR-style rifle, a handgun, a box of 9mm ammunition, a suspected crack cocaine bag between the driver’s seat and console, a small marijuana blunt under the passenger seat, and 67 blue M-30 pills in the center console, according to the report
