Plymouth Argyle had to settle for their first League One draw of the season after conceding a late equaliser as they drew 1-1 with Wigan Athletic at Home Park.
The Pilgrims had seemed set for victory when striker Loret Tolaj scored his sixth goal of the season with a 70th minute penalty, which was awarded after he was fouled by former Argyle defender Will Aimson.
However, Wigan drew level in the 82nd minute when Fraser Murray capitalised on some poor Argyle defending and it needed a smart save from Conor Hazard to prevent Jensen Weir from getting a second for visitors, who had left the Pilgrims very frustrated with their low block when out of possession.
It is now just two wins out of six home league games for Tom Cleverley’s side this term and they will need to start improving on that
