Taylor Swift's new album, "The Life of a Showgirl," broke records on the streaming music service on the first day of its release.

It took only 11 hours on Oct. 3 for the album to become the most streamed in a single day, Spotify announced.

Swift's single “The Fate of Ophelia” was also the "the most-streamed song in a single day in Spotify history," Spotify posted on Instagram.

A quick check of the Spotify charts on the morning of Oct. 4, show Swift dominating. The 12 songs from the album occupy the Top 12 spots on Spotify's Daily Top 50 Global list. In fact, the song in the 13th spot has less than half as many pla
