Mark Sanchez was stabbed last night in Indianapolis.

Fox Sports confirmed on Saturday (October 4) that the 38-year-old retired NFL star was in town for his broadcasting gig when he was stabbed and then rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.

“Mark Sanchez was injured in Indianapolis on Saturday and is currently recovering in the hospital in stable condition,” Fox Sports wrote on X . “We are deeply grateful to the medical team for their exceptional care and support. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark, and we ask that everyone please respect his and his family’s privacy during this time.”

Police received a call around 12:30 am on Saturday morning (October 4) about two injured people in downtown Indianapolis, with one of them being Mark , according to TMZ .
