CLEVELAND — Two teens were arrested Friday night during a targeted operation by Cleveland police aimed at curbing car break-ins and stolen vehicle activity in the city.

Around 9 p.m. on Oct. 3, detectives found a vehicle reported stolen out of East Cleveland traveling through the Ohio City and Gordon Square neighborhoods. The vehicle was detected by FLOCK safety cameras and later located in a parking lot near West 73rd Street and Detroit Avenue.

When officers attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle — occupied by five people — fled toward a dead end in the lot. All five occupants exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
