INDIANAPOLIS — NFL commentator and former quarterback Mark Sanchez was apparently stabbed in an overnight altercation in downtown Indianapolis and was hospitalized on Saturday.

Indianapolis police released a statement that didn't identify Sanchez, but says it was investigating a confrontation around 12:30 a.m. Saturday between two men, one of whom was hospitalized with stab wounds

Police said the other man received treatment for lacerations.
