ANN ARBOR – Michigan returned from its bye week on Saturday and looked like a team that accumulated some rust.

The 12th-ranked Wolverines shook it off in the second half, outscoring Wisconsin 14-3 to close out a 24-10 home victory. They improve to 4-1 and 2-0 in Big Ten play, while the Badgers fall to 2-3 and 0-2.

Michigan outgained them 303 yards to 100 in the second half.

Here are our observations from Saturday’s win:

-- Head coach Sherrone Moore said pass-catching was a point of emphasis during the bye. Drops still plagued the Wolverines today though. Tight end/fullback Max Bredeson had a pass slip right through his hands that would have moved the chains on a third-and-1 in the second quarter.
