ATHENS, Ga. —

The Kentucky Wildcats came into Athens ready to pounce, but the Georgia Bulldogs quickly clipped their claws Saturday, beating them 35-14.

The Wildcats' offense offered a little hope in the first half, with quarterback Cutter Boley connecting with tight end Josh Kattus for a 29-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.

That play brought Kentucky within a touchdown of Georgia, but the Bulldogs quickly responded by scoring another touchdown before halftime to extend their lead to 21-7.

In the second half, Georgia continued to pull away, adding two more touchdowns.

Kentucky added a late score in the fourth quarter when Boley found wide receiver Kaden Law for a 5-yard touchdown pass, giving the Wildcats a final tally of 14 points.

The Wildcats now look ahead to next weeken
