JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. —

On Saturday, Jeffersonville police arrested a man after he fired a gun near an apartment complex.

Around 10:20 p.m., Jeffersonville Police responded to the 2000 block of Paddle Wheel Drive on reports of gunshots in the area.

They arrived to find a large group of people, and during their investigation, police determined that Miguel Matos, 25, had shot at the ground several times.

Police seized the firearm and magazine, while the K-9 Division located five spent shell casings.

Matos cooperated with police and was arrested for criminal recklessness with a firearm (felony).
