SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Breezy conditions continue into Sunday as we are tracking rain chances and coastal flooding at each high tide.
Saturday has ended up mostly dry as rain chances were limited to only passing showers. Breezy east-northeasterly winds continued through the day, and this coupled with astronomical high tides will bring coastal flood concerns.
Expect a Coastal Flood Advisory to be in effect within two hours of each high tide for the next several days. About one-half foot of saltwater inundation is expected for this weekend’s tides. Even higher tides are possible Monday and especially Tuesday with the full moon, but it does not look like there will be major flooding based on the forecast at Fort Pulaski.
An unsettled pattern stretching from portions of the Northern Gulf Co
