GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — On Saturday, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a driver of a white Chevy Pickup truck allegedly fled the scene after he crashed his vehicle and caused it to roll over near the roundabout on G Road and 24 Road.

Reportedly, the individual ran through the fields in the area. He was later located and apprehended by Grand Junction Police Department officers around Patterson Road and Highway 6 and 50.

After officers took the driver into custody, he was later transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The incident remains under investigation and there is no additional information at this time.
