The 2025 Halloween season is upon us.

As Halloween Day approaches store owners are navigating price increases caused by tariffs.

Halloween spending is expected to reach a record $13.1 billion this year, according to the National Retail Federation’s annual survey.

The sum is up from $11.6 billion in 2024.

“Even with concerns about price increases due to tariffs, Halloween continues to resonate with consumers of all ages,” NRF Vice President of Industry and Consumer Insights Katherine Cullen said.

79% of Halloween shoppers anticipate prices will be higher this year specifically because of tariffs, according to the National Retail Federation’s annual survey.
