Independent MP Mark Latham's ex-partner Nathalie Matthews has been charged with sharing intimate images without consent.

Ms Matthews, 38, was arrested after getting off a flight from Dubai at Sydney Airport on Sunday morning.

She was taken into custody at Mascot police station after an arrest warrant was issued for her arrest while she was overseas.

She has been charged with accessing or modifying restricted data held in a computer, intentionally recording an intimate image without consent and intentionally distributing intimate images without consent.

Ms Matthews, from Engadine, had been involved in an ongoing civil apprehended violence order (AVO) with the former One Nation politician after a break-up last year.
