CALCUTTA, Ohio (WKBN) -- The Calcutta Fire Department invited people out for a day on the farm on Saturday.

This was the second-annual pumpkin patch with firefighters at Randy's Raisings. The four-hour event had a corn maze, hayrides, face painting and pumpkin picking.

Fire department officials thanked the community for coming out and giving back to the department.

"We do have a lot of support, a lot of generous residents who do help us," said David McCoy, Calcutta fire chief. "And that's how we go on our deployments and help other areas. And it helps us get more knowledgeable on a disaster that may happen in this area."

After Saturday, Randy's Raisings is open through the end of October with all of its fall activities.
