Firefighters Rescue Person Trapped Under in SUV in Sawtelle Area

Firefighters Saturday rescued a male patient who became trapped under a Jeep in the Sawtelle area of West Los Angeles.

Rescuers were called at 8:41 p.m. Saturday to 2120 S. Bundy Drive, just south of West Olympic Boulevard, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

Fire department personnel freed the unidentified male patient and took him to a hospital for treatment, Stewart said.

The patient’s name, age and condition were not immediately available.
