Residents who were evacuated after the terror attack on Heaton Park synagogue are now being allowed to return home, police said on Sunday.
Greater Manchester Police issued a statement saying only a 'reduced cordon' now remains in place. Extra patrols and police resources, GMP added, would remain in and around the scene of the atrocity on Middleton Road, Crumpsall.
Residents were told to leave their homes in the immediate aftermath of last Thursday's attack, with many saying they found alternative accommodation with friends and family, or stayed at hotels and bed and breakfasts.
The Abraham Moss Centre in Crumpsall was used as a focal point for all those who had to leave their homes.
